Roberta Harold will be reading from her novel, Portrait of an Unseen Woman: A Novel of Annie Shaw, at Ventfort Hall in the Museum of the Gilded Age. It’s a fitting location for this fictionalized account of the creative life of a Civil War widow who flourishes in 1890s Paris.
