The Oswego Public Library on Jan. 24 will feature a presentation by local author Ed Griffin-Nolan from 2-3:30 p.m.
A reporter and columnist for Syracuse New Times for 14 years, and Family Times before that, Griffin-Nolan has hitchhiked all around the world, from Argentina to Iraq to Nicaragua.
In his book, “Nobody Hitchhikes Anymore,” he recounts his 2018 journey across the United States to understand why hitchhiking has died out. It is a travelogue about a changing society and the people who lifted him up. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
The event will take place in the community room on the lower level of the library, located at 120 E. Second St., Oswego. This program is free and open to the public.
