Poet Joan M. White will celebrate the release of her debut collection of poetry, a commoner’s prayer: poems at the Pierson Library. With vivid storytelling and an intuitive connection to nature, this volume captures the beauty, loss, and resilience that define our shared experience.

Poet Alison Prine will introduce White at the event, which features a reading, book sale and signing. Light fare will be served and Flying Pig bookstore will be on hand to sell books.
