Erika Nichols-Frazer is the author of the memoir Feed Me: A Story of Food, Love and Mental Illness (Casper Press, 2022) and the poetry collections Staring Too Closely (Main Street Rag, 2023) and Can you hear her, the moon? (Finishing Line, 2026).
She has been editor of several anthologies, including the mental health recovery anthology, A Tether to This World. She has published more than thirty short stories, essays, and poems in literary journals such as River Teeth's Beautiful Things, Gone Lawn, Emerge Literary Journal, Burningword Literary Journal, Lunate, HuffPost, and others.
Nichols-Frazer is a former journalist and freelance writer; dozens of her articles have appeared in publications across Vermont, New England, and the US. She also owns Good Wolf Literary Services and previously worked as a developmental editor for New Degree Press. She has spoken publicly about writing and mental health and taught writing in a variety of settings. She currently works at Vermont State University and lives in central Vermont with her family and various animals.
