Natalie R. Cohen, PsyD (she/her), is a New York City–based clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with over twenty years of experience in private practice, with additional certification as a New York State school psychologist. She works with adults, adolescents, and children in individual and couples therapy. Her clinical work centers on human sexuality, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychedelic harm reduction and integration, and SourcePoint Therapy® (energy healing), approached through a deeply relational and embodied lens. She supports patients navigating personal transformation, identity, desire, and historical and intergenerational trauma, with careful attention to how experience is held, lived, and expressed in the body.

Dr. Cohen's private practice is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where she works with individuals and couples in a setting that invites depth, creativity, and emotional honesty. Dr. Cohen guides clients toward a fuller relationship with their inner lives, believing that lasting healing emerges through presence, embodiment, and the courage to listen to what has been held in silence.

Dr. Cohen has gathered a number of trainings that support her work. She has completed all clinical and academic requirements for the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, with formal graduation in June 2026. She has also received specialized certificates through Fluence in psychedelic harm reduction and integration, including ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted therapy, and completed the MDMA-Assisted Therapy Training Program through MAPS. She holds a doctorate in psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, a master’s degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College, and a bachelor’s degree in French with a minor in German from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. These trainings matter to her not as titles but as containers that have shaped how she listens, thinks, and stays with complexity.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cohen is a curriculum developer, writer, and public speaker. Her work contributes to ongoing conversations at the intersection of mental health, sexuality, embodiment, and the evolving field of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

She lives with her partner, tween daughter, and their puppy. Outside the consulting room and the page, she can be found dancing barefoot, swimming, boxing, practicing yoga, or walking the Central Park reservoir, quietly imagining what it means to live fully—both in this dimension and beyond.
