Jeremy Sicely is a native Vermonter who lived in Arizona as a teenager and returned to finish his education in Vermont. He is a musician and songwriter who started out playing the drums at age fourteen. He also plays the acoustic guitar, banjo, and dobro. His debut CD, Six Cents, was made possible with an Artist’s Grant from the Vermont Arts Council in 1997. His father, Mike Sicely, his uncle, Rich Sicely, and grandfather, Dick Sicely, were all strong musical influences. His songs have been covered by renowned producer Colin McCaffrey and the local favorite Wild Leek River.

Vermont’s rich, unusual history inspires many of his lyrics. As part of the northeast-based Bluegrass band Beg, Steal or Borrow, he has collaborated with famed producer Jim Rooney and shared the stage with greats like Peter Rowan. His recently released solo record Buck Fever has gained local traction and he continues to hone his songwriting skills in Bluegrass and beyond.

He lives in Cambridge, Vermont with his wife Nicole and two children, Levi and Logan.
