Donna Hills Patrick is Raymond and Arlene Hills’s first of three daughters. She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and lived in East Millstone until she married and moved to Vermont with her husband, Jon. Donna found her way into construction and space management and has worked in the industry for over twenty years.

From the get-go, Donna has led a life taking action and getting things done her way. Dubbed ‘Donna Do’ as a toddler, her inherent creativity and inquisitive attitude have been pivotal in defining who she is. Donna grew up in the same town her father did—East Millstone, New Jersey. It was there she met her husband, Jon, a man who once was a Scout in her father’s troop. Together, they made their life and raised their family in Vermont.

In her free time, Donna enjoys expressing originality at home through hands-on projects. She enjoys landscaping her yard and reaping the benefits of gardening by putting her culinary talents to use in the kitchen. She also enjoys flea market finds and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty to bring old items to life. She finds serenity in the outdoors, and enjoys activities such as snowshoeing, hiking, and kayaking. This is her first book.
