Melissa Perley
Melissa Perley is an award-winning children's book author, professional performing and teaching cellist, and a sheep farmer. She is the author of an award-winning cello blog as well as a long-running blog: A Life In Vermont, describing her life as a farmer, musician and teacher. She also been asked to be a contributing blog poster for magazines.
Melissa’s first children's book, The Violin Family, won the 2021 Indie Readers Discovery Award for children's early to intermediate readers, and a 5-Star Readers’ Favorite award.
In her limited spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time gardening and working in the woods of Vermont with husband and composer, Paul on Too Fewe Farm.
