Rootstock Publisher Elected to IPNE Board!
Rootstock Publishing is pleased to announce that Publisher Samantha Kolber has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Independent Publishers of New England. The organization offers educational programs and marketing opportunities and provides information about the publishing industry’s best practices.
“It’s an honor to serve on the board and continue its great work of connecting and supporting authors and publishers,” says Kolber. “Running a publishing business takes a community, and I'm happy to share my expertise with the members of the IPNE.”
Samantha Kolber is an award-winning poet whose work has appeared in Rattle, Mom Egg Review, Hummingbird, Hunger Mountain, and many other journals and anthologies. She is the author of Birth of a Daughter: Poems and the forthcoming novel What She Stole. She received her MFA from Goddard College, and completed post-grad studies at Pine Manor College’s Solstice MFA Program. Originally from Plainsboro, New Jersey, she lives in Montpelier, Vermont with her family. She has been owner and publisher of Rootstock Publishing since 2022.
