‘Unconverted’ Wins Literary Titan Gold!

Unconverted: Memoir of a Marriage has won a Literary Titan Gold Book Award in the category of nonfiction! Congratulations to author Polly Merritt Ingraham!

This story chronicles how an extroverted agnostic remained true to herself as her husband rose through the ranks to become an Episcopal bishop. Over three decades, Ingraham deepens her understanding of herself, her husband, and marriage itself.

In the Literary Titan'‘s review, they praised Ingraham’s writing as “sharp and unpretentious, often funny and achingly honest. She manages to be both thoughtful and down-to-earth as she walks us through moments of discomfort, discovery, and the quiet ache of being the odd one out in a world of ritual and belief.”

The Literary Titan is an organization of professional editors, writers, and professors that reviews fiction and nonfiction books in many different genres, conducts author interviews, and recognizes talented authors with their Literary Titan Book Award.
